Core Principle: Your data stays on your Mac.
ZenSpace is designed to be a local-first application. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, files, or screen contents. All presentation hacks, including Do Not Disturb, Dock hiding, and Mouse Highlight, operate entirely locally on your device.
2. License Activation & Analytics
When you activate ZenSpace Pro, the app communicates with our licensing server (api.zenspace.app) to validate your purchase. During this process, we collect the following minimal data to prevent fraud and manage your license:
- Your license key
- A randomly generated hardware UUID (Machine ID) to tie the license to your Mac
- The app version you are running
We do not collect telemetry, usage analytics, or crash reports within the macOS app.
3. The Website
When you visit zenspace.app, we may use standard website analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our site. This may include information such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and operating system. This data is aggregated and used solely to improve our website and marketing efforts.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to handle payments and order fulfillment. When you purchase ZenSpace Pro, your payment information is processed directly by our payment provider. We never see or store your full credit card details.
